This Fair Use Policy (also referred to as an Acceptable Use Policy) governs how Customers may use the VoiceDock platform. VoiceDock is a trade name of Flireo B.V.; Flireo B.V. is the legal entity. This policy forms part of, and is subject to, our Terms and Conditions.
VoiceDock is a business-to-business platform. Customers build and operate their own AI voice assistants on it. Customers are responsible for how their assistants are used and for the callers who interact with them.
1. Your responsibilities
As a Customer, you agree to:
- Use VoiceDock only for lawful business purposes and in accordance with our Terms.
- Comply with all applicable laws, including telecommunications, consumer-protection, marketing, and data-protection law (such as the GDPR).
- Obtain any consent your use requires — including caller consent to recording and, where required, disclosure that the caller is speaking with an AI assistant.
- Keep your account credentials and any provider keys (BYOK) secure, and be responsible for all activity under your account.
2. Prohibited use
You may not use VoiceDock, and you may not configure an assistant, to:
- Break the law — engage in or facilitate any illegal activity.
- Defraud or deceive — run scams, phishing, social engineering, or impersonate a person or organisation in a deceptive way.
- Send unlawful bulk or unsolicited calls — place automated, marketing, or bulk outbound calls in violation of applicable telemarketing, robocall, do-not-call, or consent rules.
- Harass or harm — threaten, harass, defame, or target individuals, or produce hateful, abusive, or knowingly false content.
- Handle prohibited or high-risk matters without a lawful basis — process special categories of personal data, or operate in regulated contexts (for example medical or emergency response), without the legal basis and safeguards those require.
- Rely on it for emergency communications — VoiceDock is not a substitute for emergency services (such as 112 or 911) and must not be used for emergency calls.
- Abuse the platform or infrastructure — attempt to breach security, evade limits, reverse-engineer, overload shared resources, or interfere with other Customers.
- Infringe rights — violate intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights, or distribute malware.
- Resell or sublicense the platform except as your agreement expressly permits.
3. AI disclosure and consent
You are responsible for meeting the transparency and consent obligations that apply to automated voice interactions in your jurisdiction. In the EU this includes Article 50 of the AI Act, which requires that people are informed they are interacting with an AI system unless that is obvious from the context. Depending on where you operate and who you call, recording consent, telemarketing rules, and sector-specific duties may apply as well.
VoiceDock provides built-in tools to help — including a recording-consent flow, a configurable opening message in which your assistant can identify itself as an AI assistant, and configurable recording and retention. Choosing, configuring and using them correctly is your responsibility as the data controller for your callers.
4. Fair use of shared resources
Where you use platform-provided (shared) AI and telephony resources rather than your own keys, you agree to use them reasonably and not in a way that is abusive, fraudulent, or disproportionate to normal business use. We may apply rate or volume limits, and anti-fraud controls, to protect the platform and other Customers.
5. Enforcement
If we reasonably believe you are in breach of this policy, we may — depending on the severity — warn you, throttle or suspend the relevant assistant or account, or terminate your use, in line with our Terms. Where the law requires it, or where there is a risk to people or the platform, we may act without prior notice.
To report abuse or a suspected violation, contact support@flireo.com.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Fair Use Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to Customers, and the "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
